Job summary

Senior Operations Coordinator (SkillBridge Intern) – Government Asset Management (GAM) at KBR safeguards U.S. Government property and supports procurement, records, and audits across DoD programs.

This DoD SkillBridge internship is for transitioning service members within 180 days of separation, remaining on active-duty pay while training full-time with KBR; release is mission-dependent. Work arrangement is On-Site with positions in Tempe, AZ; Torrance, CA; Clearwater, FL.

Qualifications

• Active-duty service member eligible for SkillBridge.
• Bachelor's degree plus 3 years or HS diploma plus 6 years in supply/logistics/procurement.
• Military-coded background with PBO/APO or equivalent.
• Hands-on with hand receipts and inventories.
• Familiarity with APSR or logistics systems (DPAS/ELMS).
• Exposure to PIEE/WAWF/iRAPT or willingness to learn GFP Module.
• Strong documentation discipline and auditable files tied to contract/SOW.

Responsibilities

• Property accountability: records management and inventories across DoD outcomes.
• GFP & PIEE operations: GFP attachments, shipments, plant clearance.
• Loss & liability documentation: assist with loss investigations and DD 200/FLIPL docs.
• Audit readiness: prepare artifacts for DCMA PMSA and correct actions.
• Procurement integration: draft RFP/RFQ and conduct market research.
• Systems & data: learn SAP basics and SAP/AssetSmart interfaces.
• Continuous improvement: Kaizen/RCCA/Gemba to reduce cycle time.
