Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our team and help deliver the next generation of OPIR ground systems for national security space missions. As a senior ground systems engineer, you will develop SRDs, TRDs, ICDs, and related documentation, and work with the Military to translate requirements into actionable designs.

You will lead a team, grow capabilities, and apply innovative engineering methods while coordinating across clients, teams, and leadership to ensure

Qualifications

• 10+ years supporting DoD weapon systems acquisitions or systems engineering.
• 5+ years of systems engineering analysis for satellite/ground C2 and data processing.
• 3+ years leading teams of at least 5 people.
• Experience communicating and coordinating with the client, your team, related teams, and leadership.
• Experience developing technical specifications, interface control documents, ground architectures and designs, integration plans and schedules, and test plans.
• Experience with requirements management and testable criteria, system validation and verification.
• Knowledge of network architecture.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop System Requirements Documents (SRDs).
• Develop Technical Requirements Documents (TRDs).
• Create Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
• Prepare mission protection documentation, technical assessments, integration plans, and verification plans.
• Develop digital mission and system models for satellite ground systems.
• Research new requirements, technologies, and threats; apply innovative engineering methodologies.
• Grow the team to be the best they can be.
