Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks Strategic Regional Director, Field Medical Affairs to lead a team of 6 MSLs in the East region, driving ophthalmology/eye care scientific engagement and medical strategy. You will mentor MSLs, shape regional medical plans, and collaborate across functions with commercial, clinical, regulatory, and medical operations.

Remote work with 50-75% travel, reporting to VP Medical Affairs Operations; advanced degree and 10+ years in Medical Affairs preferred, including 5+

Qualifications

• Advanced degree and 10+ years in Medical Affairs or scientific roles.
• 5+ years in leadership within field medical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the MSL team.
• Develop and execute regional medical plans.
• Serve as disease state and product expert.
• Manage KOL and ECP relationships.
• Oversee scientific exchange activities.
• Ensure compliance with GxP, HIPAA, and other regulations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial, clinical, regulatory, and medical operations teams.
