Job summary

Fortrea is seeking a Sr. CRA with Ophthalmology monitoring experience to join its FSP team across major hubs in the United States. Regional travel is expected, with occasional outside travel.

Oncology and cardiology experience are a plus; CRA 1s and 2s with 1–2 years monitoring are also welcome. You will apply clinical judgment to monitor trials, manage sites, ensure data integrity, and handle safety reporting.

Qualifications

• University or college degree, or certification in a related allied health profession.
• 4+ years of Clinical Monitoring experience for Sr. CRAs.
• Ophthalmology experience is required.
• 60-70% overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Monitor study sites, perform pre-study and initiation visits, and maintain study files.
• Oversee site management as per project plans.
• Conduct general on-site monitoring and ensure protocol compliance.
• Ensure proper informed consent procedures and patient safety.
• Verify data integrity on CRFs and other tools.
• Coordinate registry management and feasibility studies.
• Assist with training of new employees and act as local client contact.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
