ICON Strategic Solutions is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Associate (Ophthalmology) to lead monitoring activities in a sponsor-dedicated model. You will ensure trial quality, conduct site visits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive timely data collection and reporting.

Location is in major Northeast markets with substantial travel; candidates should be located in Baltimore, Pittsburgh or Philadelphia and bring ophthalmology trial experience to ensure regulatory compliance

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline or healthcare-related field.
• Extensive experience as a Clinical Research Associate with understanding of trial processes and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to manage multiple sites and projects with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Expertise in monitoring practices, data integrity, and site management with proficiency in clinical trial software and tools.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills to influence and drive compliance.
• Experience monitoring complex ophthalmology indications.
• Willingness to travel approximately 60%.
• Candidates must be located in Baltimore, Pittsburgh or Philadelphia.

• Lead clinical trial monitoring tasks requiring technical depth with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
• Monitor trial sites to ensure adherence to study protocols, regulatory requirements, and GCP standards.
• Conduct site visits to assess performance, resolve issues, and support successful trial execution.

• Provide training and guidance to site staff and other CRAs to maintain high standards.
