Job summary

ICON Strategic Solutions is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Associate (Oncology) to support the South Central region. The role involves site management, monitoring visits, and ensuring trial data integrity and patient safety across sponsor partnerships.

You will liaise between sponsor teams and sites, perform risk-based monitoring, train site staff, and assist with regulatory inspections. A strong oncology monitoring background and travel up to 50% are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years monitoring clinical trials independently conducting on-site and remote monitoring visits.
• Solid tumor clinical trial experience required.
• 1+ years in early development oncology trial experience and/or Phase III Oncology trial experience.
• Experience developing/maintaining site relationships and securing compliance.
• Experience training site staff and supporting regulatory inspections.

Responsibilities

• Perform site management to support Oncology site success and inspection readiness.
• Act as primary contact between client trial team and sites.
• Conduct remote and on-site monitoring visits to ensure data integrity and subject safety.
• Document monitoring activities and submit visit reports.
• Manage site essential document collection and TMF reconciliation.
• Support IRB/EC submissions and approvals for sites.
• Review KRIs and action items to detect trends and drive resolution.
• Develop CAPA plans and implement root-cause analysis.
• Lead site engagement and activate site networks.
