Job summary

Watlow Electric Manufacturing Company in Winona, MN is hiring a Senior Operator to work Monday-Thursday, 5:30 AM–4:00 PM with a pay rate of $23.06 per hour. This hands-on role focuses on operating equipment, maintaining takt time, testing work, and supporting a safe, organized production environment.

You'll collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, and Continuous Improvement teams to keep production moving, resolve issues, and ensure products meet quality standards. High school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Up to three years of related manufacturing experience.
• Basic understanding of computer systems and data analysis.
• Ability to learn new skills and follow directions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn, improve, and flex between work cells and value streams.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment/tools/machinery to prepare and assemble product.
• Set‑ up and operate equipment / tools /machinery, including complex equipment to prepare and assemble product.
• Assure product meets all quality standards.
• May test products using established procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Meet production metrics (takt time).
• Serve as a resource to others in resolution of complex problems and issues and work on tasks that reflect substantial variety and complexity.
• Check and fill out necessary reports, manufacturing orders, scrap, rejects and production times.
• May complete inventory‑cycle counts and do the tracking of work in progress.
• Follow the Watlow Way Behaviors, Values and Principles.
