Job summary

RayzeBio in Indianapolis (a wholly owned subsidiary of Bristol Myers Squibb) seeks a Senior Operator Production to execute a novel Finished Drug Product program for radiopharmaceuticals at clinical and commercial scale. You will perform routine production tasks, aseptic handling, and ensure strict cGMP compliance.

The role requires 5+ years in GMP, sterile operations, and a STEM degree; nuclear medicine/radiopharmaceutical experience is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience operating in a GMP environment.
• Experience operating aseptically within ISO 7/Class C strongly preferred.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in STEM preferred.
• Experience with nuclear medicine and/or radiopharmaceuticals strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute production of RayzeBio drug products, including raw material preparation, line clearance, formulation, filling, and equipment setup.
• Support and execute validation activities for clinical and commercial manufacturing.
• Perform cleaning and sanitization of CNC, ISO 8, ISO 7, and ISO 5 Isolators.
• Support process improvements across functions as opportunities present.
• Assist Production Management with inventory and PPE management.
• Update production technical documents (SOPs, forms, etc.) as needed.
• Support day-to-day production operations and upkeep of the production area.
• Promote a culture of safety and compliance with EHS and Radiation Safety programs.

Summary

The Senior Operator for Production reporting to the Production Supervisor plays a critical role in delivering RayzeBio’s innovative radiopharmaceutical products to patients. This position performs routine execution of a novel Finished Drug Product program manufacturing clinical and commercial-scale radiopharmaceuticals.

Job Responsibilities

• Execute production of RayzeBio drug products (including raw material preparation, line clearance, formulation, filling, equipment/instrument setup, etc.) while ensuring compliance with cGMP, aseptic practice, and management expectations.
• Support and execute validation activities for clinical and commercial manufacturing.
• Perform cleaning and sanitization of CNC, ISO 8, ISO 7, and ISO 5 Isolators.
• Support process improvements, both internally and cross-functionally, as opportunities present.
• Support department with inventory management, including cleaning supplies and personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Assist Production Management with updating production technical documents (SOPs, forms, etc.) as needed.
• Support day-to-day production operations, and upkeep of the production area.
• Promote a culture of safety and compliance with EHS and Radiation Safety programs.

Education and Experience

• 5 years experience operating in a GMP environment.
• Experience operating aseptically within ISO 7/Class C strongly preferred.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a STEM field is preferred.
• Experience with nuclear medicine and/or radiopharmaceuticals strongly preferred.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision. This is a position that requires working in a laboratory environment, protective clothing, gloves, and safety glasses are required while working in a laboratory environment with radioactive materials.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Compensation Overview

Indianapolis - RayzeBio - IN: $31.07 - $37.64per hour

The starting pay range(s) listed above is for full-time employees (FTE). You may also be eligible for additional discretionary incentive cash and stock opportunities. We determine starting pay thoughtfully – carefully considering the nature of the role, required skills, work location, schedule and the knowledge and experience you bring. Final compensation is guided by pay equity principles and applicable employment laws. Compensation programs are reviewed on an ongoing basis and may be adjusted over time to reflect evolving market factors, and individual, team or Company performance.

U.S.-based exempt employees are eligible for Flexible Time Off (FTO), which provides paid time off without a set accrual limit, subject to manager approval, along with 11 paid company holidays each year.

Non-exempt employees, RayzeBio employees, and employees located in Puerto Rico receive 160 hours of paid vacation annually for new hires (subject to manager approval), 11 paid company holidays, and 3 optional holidays.

Depending on eligibility, employees may also have access to additional time-off benefits, including paid sick leave, up to two paid volunteer days per year, summer hours flexibility, and leaves of absence for medical, personal, parental, caregiver, bereavement, or military needs.

Eligible employees also enjoy an annual Global Shutdown between Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
