Job summary

RayzeBio, a subsidiary of Bristol Myers Squibb, seeks a senior IT leader to build and optimize digital solutions for commercial operations. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in commercial operations technology, IT business partnering, or a related discipline within biotech, pharma, or a comparable regulated industry.
  • Demonstrated experience owning or supporting commercial-facing applications (e.g., order management, distribution/logistics, license management, or supply planning systems)
  • Experience building and maintaining integrated data layers or data pipelines that combine information across multiple business functions or external sources
  • Proven track record partnering with senior business stakeholders to build and execute technology roadmaps
  • Experience managing external vendors/suppliers, including performance oversight and issue resolution
  • Strong understanding of the regulatory and compliance considerations relevant to commercial pharma/biotech systems, including GxP and computer systems validation

Responsibilities

  • Build, operate, and maintain custom build digital solutions supporting RayzeBio's commercial operations, including a customer ordering portal and commercial operations solution.
  • Partner with third-party providers to ensure timely, reliable data transfer related to product orders and availability.
  • Develop and execute detailed testing plans, collaborating with IT teammates and larger enterprise across products.
  • Create and deliver training materials for consumers of end products.
  • Ensure system governance, documentation, and change control practices in regulated environments.
  • Manage release cycles and coordinate training and onboarding for new deployments.
  • Translate business requirements into a prioritized technology roadmap aligned with broader business needs.
  • Facilitate regular roadmap reviews and business case development with senior leadership to secure alignment and resources.
  • Represent commercial operations technology needs in cross-functional and enterprise IT planning forums.
  • Manage vendors to ensure timely information flow from radiopharmacies and suppliers; oversee SLAs and reviews.

Job Responsibilities
  • Build, operate, and maintain custom build digital solutions supporting RayzeBio's commercial operations, including a customer ordering portal and commercial operations solution, which will support a team of operations managers actively partnering with customers, field teams and manufacturers to ensure product delivery
  • Partner with third-party providers, including radiopharmacies, to ensure timely, reliable and accurate data transfer related to product orders and product availability
  • Develop and execute detailed testing plans, collaborating with other IT team members and larger enterprise across products
  • Create and deliver training materials for consumers of end products
  • Work with senior leaders to determine the best path forward for systems validation scope; follow GxP procedures as necessary
  • Ensure system reliability, performance, and uptime; act as the escalation point for critical application issues affecting commercial operations
  • Apply AI to improve team execution and decision-making
  • Drive continuous improvement, enhancements, and upgrades across the application portfolio, balancing technical debt against new capability development
  • Establish and maintain governance, documentation, and change control practices appropriate for systems supporting regulated commercial activities
  • Actively partner with functional leaders across RayzeBio, including senior team members across Commercial and Data Strategy, to drive roadmap alignment
  • Manage release cycles, ensuring appropriate support, training and onboarding as needed
  • Translate business requirements into a coherent, prioritized technology roadmap; ensure the roadmap is aligned with broader business needs
  • Facilitate regular roadmap reviews and business case development with senior leadership to secure alignment and resourcing
  • Represent commercial operations technology needs in cross-functional and enterprise IT planning forums
  • Manage vendors to ensure RayzeBio has timely and necessary information from radiopharmacies and suppliers as needed
  • Own vendor performance management, including SLAs, issue escalation and periodic business reviews
  • Partner with Procurement and Legal on contracting, renewals and vendor risk management as needed identify opportunities to streamline or consolidate vendor relationships to improve efficiency and data flow
Required Qualifications

  • Experience with radiopharmaceutical, specialty pharmacy, or other short shelf-life/specialty distribution models
  • Direct experience in software engineering
  • Familiarity with systems such as order management/e-commerce portals
  • Experience in a growth-stage or newly commercial biotech environment
  • Travel Required 25% as required
Compensation Overview

Indianapolis - RayzeBio - IN: $166,139 - $201,322 Princeton - NJ - US: $166,139 - $201,322 San Diego - CA - US: $182,753 - $221,454

The starting pay range(s) listed above is for full-time employees (FTE).

You may also be eligible for additional discretionary incentive cash and stock opportunities.

We determine starting pay thoughtfully – carefully considering the nature of the role, required skills, work location, schedule and the knowledge and experience you bring.

Final compensation is guided by pay equity principles and applicable employment laws.

Compensation programs are reviewed on an ongoing basis and may be adjusted over time to reflect evolving market factors, and individual, team or Company performance.
