Job summary

Pregis is hiring a Senior Operator in Roselle, IL to lead production crews on pilot level converting lines. You will ensure readiness of all job components, drive quality, and oversee in-line finishing with minimal supervision. The role requires 5–7 years of inline finishing experience and strong leadership.

Reports to Plant Manager with emphasis on safety and continuous improvement. Set up and operate line equipment, train others, perform minor repairs, and track line counts to meet production

Qualifications

• Requires four years of high school and five/seven years of inline finishing experience or equivalent.
• Strong leadership and technical skills are required.
• Must be able to operate pilot level converting lines and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead production crews to efficiently operate equipment.
• Ensure all job components are ready and information is accurate on job tickets.
• Train and motivate staff; perform minor mechanical repairs and adjustments.
• Maintain safety, productivity, waste reduction, and quality standards on the line.
• Communicate across shifts to ensure smooth transitions and continuous improvement.
