Job summary

Abbott in Plymouth, MN is seeking a Senior Operator to support production in the SH division. Under general supervision, you will lead a self-directed cell, ensure continuous flow, and help maintain high productivity and quality across build schedules.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 4+ years in electronics assembly, and ability to read engineering drawings. You will train operators, perform process audits, and collaborate to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED with related manufacturing experience.
• 4+ years in assembly of digital/analog circuitry/devices and ability to lead a team.
• Experience in air-conditioned clean-room manufacturing and reading engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production activity in assigned work areas to meet build schedules.
• Communicate work instructions to personnel per supervisory objectives.
• May perform direct manufacturing operations as needed to support schedules.
• Perform process and quality audits of personnel, tooling and equipment.
• Provide training and feedback to operators; assist in continuous improvement.
