Job summary

The Vermont Army National Guard seeks an Operation and Training Manager at Camp Ethan Allen Training Site. This National Guard Title 32 excepted service position is responsible for leading DPTMS/DPOTS integration and coordinating training planning with timelines and IPR-based milestones.

The role requires supervisory leadership, personnel management, and the ability to coordinate with active and reserve units and civilian partners to ensure mission readiness and compliance with security

Responsibilities

• Senior operations officer for integration and synchronization of DPTMS/DPOTS operations for the Garrison Training Center and training support, establishes integration requirements and an IP R-based milestone schedule.
• Provides supervision and personnel management; selects subordinate supervisory positions considering skills and mission needs; ensures equity in performance standards.
• Reviews and assesses performance, handles grievances, and maintains compliance with policies and security directives.
• Develops and updates the training center Five-Year Range Development Plan in coordination with other directorates; leads pilot programs to improve training support integration.
