Job summary

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years in an operations technician role; Associates degree is preferred. Occasional travel between Williams locations and after-hours work may be involved.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required with 3+ years as an operations technician or similar role.
• Preferred: Associate degree and 2 years multifaceted operations technician experience in oil and gas.

Responsibilities

• Performs tasks to safely maintain equipment and support pipeline operations, including reading/interpreting drawings, inspecting/supervising equipment and maintaining operation/technical standards and/or governmental requirements.
• Data analysis and collaboration with others to resolve technical or operational problems.
• Follows all Company policies and applies operating and maintenance procedures.
• Adheres to safe operation requirements of facilities, execution of tasks, and protection of community, personnel, environment and assets.
• Maintains knowledge of site/equipment/permits and compliance.
• Completes reports, logs and maintains records of process operations and preventative maintenance.
