Waymo is seeking an experienced operations leader to scale Waymo Ops. You will develop standardized systems, drive continuous improvements, mentor teams, implement lean processes, and establish clear performance metrics across lines of business, partnering with cross-functional leaders to raise quality and throughput.

The role requires 15+ years in operations or program management, strong problem solving, and a proven ability to lead large, complex projects. Travel is 10–15%.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in operations management or related fields.
• Ability to break down complex problems and derive insights from data.
• Influence cross-functional stakeholders to drive strategy.
• Experience planning and delivering large-scale projects.
• Strong communication across teams and levels of leadership.

Responsabilités

• Develop operational systems to support standardized work, problem solving, process definition, and continuous improvement.
• Drive system-level process improvements to streamline human-dependent processes.
• Help ingrain DNA for Waymo Operations across markets and partners, and set standards in the AV ecosystem.
• Facilitate cross-functional problem solving to design counter measures and corrective actions.
• Coach and teach people on measuring and driving operational efficiencies.
• Be a key strategic thought partner for cross-functional leaders across the organization.
