Job summary

IDS International seeks a Senior Operations Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support Mission Command Exercises. The role requires extensive Special Operations Forces experience to provide operational expertise and assist in exercise planning and execution.

Your background will include contributing to mission command training requirements and coordinating training events with a focus on Special Operations Forces elements.

Qualifications

• Secret clearance is required.
• Associate degree; fifteen years of related military experience may substitute for the degree.
• Graduate of the U.S. Army Special Forces Qualifying Course (Officer 18A, Warrant Officer 180A, or NCO 18 Series).
• Graduate of a U.S. military officer's Intermediate Course or Senior Service College, Special Forces Warrant Officer Advanced Course, First Sergeant Course, or Sergeants Major Course.
• Experience with Special Operations Forces or Military Intelligence, Logistics Corps, or Field Artillery is preferred.

The selected candidate will provide operational expertise, support exercise planning and execution activities, and contribute to mission command training requirements through extensive Special Operations Forces experience.

Requirements

• Graduate of the U.S. Army Special Forces Qualifying Course (Officer 18A, Warrant Officer 180A, or Noncommissioned Officer 18 Series Military Occupational Specialty).
• Graduate of a U.S. military officer's Intermediate Course or Senior Service College, Special Forces Warrant Officer Advanced Course, First Sergeant Course, or Sergeants Major Course.
• Assignment to Special Operations Forces (Special Forces, Psychological Operations, Civil Affairs, Ranger Regiment, Special Operations Aviation, Special Mission Units), or assignment to Military Intelligence, Logistics Corps, or Field Artillery.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of experience researching, planning, preparing, coordinating, and executing MRXs.
