Genesys Cloud Services, Inc. seeks Senior Operations Research Engineer in Menlo Park, CA. ** Telecommuting allowed for this position.**

Job Description: Research, experiment, and implement suitable machine learning algorithms and advance statistical models for time series forecasting; Develop algorithm to clean, preprocess, and transform large-scale time series datasets for model training and validation, including but not limited to handling missing data, outliers, and other data anomalies effectively; Perform survival analysis on special events and predict future occurrences of anomalies. Evaluate performance of statistical forecasting models using appropriate error metrics and continuously refine and optimize models based on feedback and real-world performance; Develop and deploy statistical and machine learning models into production environments and integrate them with existing systems; Implement robust monitoring and logging mechanisms to track model performance and detect drift over time; Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, gather feedback, and iterate on solutions; and Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning, time series forecasting techniques, and related fields. Explore new methodologies and technologies to improve forecasting accuracy and efficiency. Telecommuting allowed for this position.

Minimum Qualifications: The position requires a Master's degree in Business Analytics, Business Administration, or closely related field plus two (2) years of experience in a computer related occupation. Education or work/internship experience must include any amount of experience in the following skills (Employer will accept experience gained concurrently with education): Experience in Advanced Statistical and Data Analysis; Experience in Statistical Model Building; Experience in Advanced R, Python, and artificial intelligence programming languages; Experience in Data mining; Experience in Predictive Analytics; Experience in Machine Learning and Deep Learning; Experience in Cloud Computing and Scalable System; Experience in Big Data and Distributed System; and Experience in Time Series Analysis and Forecasting. Telecommuting allowed for this position.

Salary range: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00

Compensation:

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.

$129,800.00 - $241,200.00
