This role supports a U.S. Navy customer, developing analytical models, forecasting performance, and evaluating strategies that optimize operations. A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and a Secret security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of operations research experience.
• Experience with Navy-based operations is preferred.
• A minimum Secret security clearance or higher is required to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

• Support a U.S. Navy customer with operational analysis.
• Apply operations research techniques to improve coordination and management of resources.
• Analyze issues related to strategy, planning, forecasting, scheduling, supply chain, and performance measurement.
• Gather data and select analytical techniques such as simulation, linear programming, dynamic programming, or stochastic modeling.
• Develop mathematical models to describe systems and evaluate alternative scenarios.
• Provide recommendations to support government decision‑making.
