Job summary

Xcel Energy is seeking a Standard Operations professional to coordinate daily work plans across multiple crews, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. You will assign work, manage resources, and optimize crew and equipment allocation for timely execution.

Ideal candidates will have five years in construction/operations, strong communication, and proficiency with Excel and scheduling tools. This is a senior scheduling role within a large, regulated energy company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Minimum five years' experience in construction, design, maintenance or operations (utility experience preferred).
• Scheduling/planning experience in utility or construction industry preferred. Ability to schedule and manage work to meet requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet tools and data retrieval.

Responsibilities

• Adjust planned schedules daily and assign crews for priority tasks.
• Review incoming work outside normal window and manage exception work.
• Coordinate equipment and materials; ensure readiness and proper work acceptance.
• Triage rejections, adjust schedule to minimize disruptions and meet start dates.
• Build partnerships with supervisors and stakeholders to maximize productivity.
