Job description

Carbel, part of Arvato, is a full-service 3PL provider serving national and international clients across various industries, with a strong focus on fashion and retail. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end operations of the entire distribution center. This includes driving continuous improvement in all areas of operation as well as monitoring and adjusting processes as needed to meet production schedules, due dates, priorities, shipping requirements, and volume peaks. Your goal will be to provide the highest quality service for our customers by establishing best-in-class processes while maintaining optimal cost structures.

YOUR TASKS

1. Maintain production, quality, reliability, and safety requirements.
2. Hire, train, evaluate, and develop production management staff.
3. Serve as a key communication link between operations and customers (internal and external).
4. Coordinate warehousing and distribution activities to ensure timely delivery of products to customers daily and support client month/year-end activities.
5. Monitor and ensure all frontline supervisors are accurately accounting for labor efforts in correct cost centers and project codes.
6. Prepare OPS data as required.
7. Support Quality Management System and corrective actions.
8. Oversee safety and employee engagement initiatives.
9. Be responsible for client KPIs.
10. Plan and execute peak season operations.
11. Train warehouse associates across all functional areas.
12. Lead and manage a team of OPS Managers, providing guidance, training, and support to meet goals and objectives.
13. Oversee inventory management to ensure control metrics support customer audits and physical inventories.
14. Identify areas for improvement within QMS processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize waste throughout the supply chain.

YOUR PROFILE

1. 10+ years of operations experience within a multi-client supply chain and high-tech environment, including developing, motivating, and leading cross-functional teams.
2. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
3. ERP Systems experience required; SAP preferred.
4. Active management of production, quality, and technical support areas.
5. Workforce management experience in a temporary labor environment.
6. Experience in a fulfillment environment with automation (WCS, WMS, and subsystems).
