Metrosion Inc. in Burlingame, CA, seeks a senior recruiting operations leader to partner with hiring managers, translate needs into role profiles, and drive structured interviews and assessments.

You will own recruiting operations across engineering, AI, data, product, design, and commercial roles, guide processes, records, and reporting, and bring senior judgment to sensitive candidate information. This on-site, full-time role requires strong organization, discretion, and analytical

Qualifications

• Senior level: at least 6 years of relevant recruiting operations, program management, or people operations experience.
• Prior professional experience working at an AI-forward company is required.
• Experience recruiting technical and product professionals and partnering with hiring managers.
• Ability to assess evidence of hands-on AI and software work rather than relying on terminology alone.
• Strong organization, discretion, communication, and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems, structured assessments, and consistent candidate processes.

Lead recruiting and people operations at Senior level to support a team creating dependable AI software.

The opportunity

Partner with hiring managers to find people who combine technical depth, sound judgment, and collaborative working habits. Make the candidate experience clear and respectful while improving the quality and consistency of hiring decisions.

Independently own recruiting operations and workforce coordination across technical and commercial hiring. Partner with leadership on priorities, improve hiring quality and consistency, and guide the processes, records, and reporting that support sound hiring decisions. Bring senior judgment to sensitive candidate information, competing priorities, and operational improvements.

What you will do

AI & ML knowledge

Practical AI and ML literacy sufficient to distinguish applied engineering, data science, research, and ML operations skills and to build relevant assessments with technical interviewers.

Every team member should be able to discuss the capabilities and limitations of AI relevant to their work, verify AI-generated output, protect sensitive information, and keep their knowledge current as the technology evolves.
