Qualifications

• Must possess high school diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years previous supervisory experience in the LTL industry.
• Must be able to travel as needed.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong communication skills (written, oral and visual).
• Knowledge of company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead, educate and develop new employees.
• Plan daily manpower needs to ensure timely delivery and pickup.
• Coordinate movement of trailers and freight with dispatch and dock staff.
• Monitor dock loading techniques.
• Evaluate and reconfigure route structures and bids.
• Conduct safety meetings and facilitate quality groups.
• Monitor performance data for reviews and efficiency improvements.
• Assist Operation Supervisors; conduct pre-shift meetings; enforce policy.
• Comply with laws, regulations and company procedures.
• Perform other duties as required.
