Job summary

Tradebe is seeking a Technical Services Operations Manager to lead a service center in the United States. You will manage a team of chemists and drivers, own full P&L, and drive safety, compliance, and operational excellence.

You will coordinate scheduling, purchasing, and customer support while ensuring DOT and environmental regulations are met. Strong leadership and communication are essential to align field operations with Sales, Plant Operations, and Customer Service.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field preferred).
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience in operations or service environment.
  • 5+ years of industry experience, lab packing expertise strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of DOT and RCRA regulations preferred.
  • Strong organization and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Previous experience with SAP a plus.
  • Ability to travel locally up to 50%.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations for the service center with full P&L ownership.
  • Oversee scheduling of customer work, logistics, and team assignments.
  • Manage and develop Field Chemists and Drivers, providing training and support.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and DOT regulations.
  • Coordinate purchasing, invoices, and supply management for the facility.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Plant Operations, and Customer Service teams to resolve technical and operational needs.
  • Communicate facility updates and challenges to regional leadership.
  • Other duties as assigned.
