Job summary

SkyChefs is seeking an Operations Manager in San Diego to oversee all daily operations within the Customer Service Center. You will lead multiple teams, ensure safe and efficient production, and uphold the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced aviation catering environment.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and experience with lean initiatives, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Minimum 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience in operations management, manufacturing, food production, logistics, or related fields.
Experience managing multiple departments and large frontline teams in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication, and ability to interact with employees, customers, vendors, and leadership.
Experience with workforce planning, production scheduling, staffing management, and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

Direct and lead multiple dynamic teams across all operations.
Manage department costs to budget through manpower planning, scheduling, and overtime control.
Ensure on-time and accurate production and catering for flights.
Lead root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
Foster positive relationships with internal and external customers.
Support annual budgeting and performance tracking.
