Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6+ years in scrap, recycling, or heavy industrial operations.
• 4+ years of progressive supervisory or leadership experience.
• Experience operating and training on heavy equipment.
• Understanding production workflows and quality risk management.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills with MS Office and systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensures consistent, site-wide adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Leads and reinforces a strong safety culture through engagement, accountability, and visibility.
• Oversees planning and execution of production activities across assigned operational areas or shifts.
• Serves as a technical and operational authority for heavy equipment operation and training.
• Establishes expectations for operator competency, equipment care, and safe material handling.
• Owns operational KPIs including safety performance, throughput, recovery, quality, and efficiency.
