Job summary

New Castle Metal is seeking a Senior Manager of Operations to guide production, safety, and process systems across the facility. You will own equipment uptime, lead vendor relationships, and drive capital decisions to optimize performance.

You will develop SOPs, maintain quality management for finished products, audit fabrication processes, and oversee production planning and inventory control to minimize bottlenecks and maximize efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee equipment uptime and PM schedules; lead vendor relationships and procurement decisions.
• Develop and enforce SOPs for receiving, delivery, transfers, returns, and cycle counts; ensure QA across finished fabrication.
• Manage production planning, inventory controls, and bottleneck resolution to improve throughput.
• Lead employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and offboarding for operations staff.
• Champion safety initiatives, perform root-cause analysis of incidents, and conduct weekly safety training and risk-control activities.
