Job summary

Target is seeking a Senior Operations Manager in Windsor, CT, to lead Distribution Center operations with a focus on safety, efficiency and team leadership. You will set priorities, coach leaders, and drive continuous improvement using metrics and on-floor visibility.

The role requires strong planning, execution, and communication skills, with experience in Lean, productivity improvements, and cross-functional collaboration to support a fast-moving retail supply chain.

Qualifications

• Four year degree or 3–5 years of supervisory/management experience in manufacturing, production or distribution.
• Strong ability to use performance metrics to drive improvement.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety-focused operations with a culture of continuous improvement.
• Manage resources, scheduling and staffing to meet service levels.
• Drive Lean Six Sigma practices and GEMBA walks to identify improvement opportunities.
• Spend time on the floor daily, coaching teams and ensuring accountability.
