Job summary

Teledyne FLIR Defense seeks an experienced leader to drive the Manufacturing strategy across safety, quality, delivery and cost. You will head Operations, Planning, Supply Chain and Manufacturing Engineering to optimize capacity, supplier relationships and process improvements.

You will partner with R&D and NPI to ensure smooth product introductions and continuous improvements, while maintaining AS9100/ISO quality standards and mentoring the next generation of manufacturing leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or equivalent; MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years manufacturing management experience in a high-tech environment.
• Experience developing and training supervisory personnel in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes a manufacturing strategy focusing on safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Lead Operations, Planning, Supply Chain and Manufacturing Engineering teams to drive results.
• Improve margins by targeting on-time delivery, cycle time reduction and yield improvement.
• Establish policies for production schedule, quality and cost with strong financial acumen.
• Collaborate with R&D, NPI and Quality to ensure smooth new product introduction and continuous improvement.
