Job summary

Ameriprise Financial Advisors in Grand Rapids, MI seeks a Registered Operations Leader to guide branch operations, support advisors, and improve client experience. You will lead staff, coordinate meetings, and ensure smooth paperwork and reporting.

Required: 5–7 years supervisory experience; Series 7 or eligibility; securities licenses (S63/S66) or ability to obtain; strong communication, analytic, and time-management skills. This is an in-office, full-time exempt role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
• 5–7 years supervisory experience is required.
• Series 7 or ability to obtain within 150 days.
• State securities agent registration (S63 or S66) or ability to obtain within 150 days.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to motivate team members to deliver results.
• Proficiency with standard business software applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage activities that support business results, revenue growth, client experience and efficiencies in practice.
• Assist advisors in servicing clients including preparing financial plans, conducting investment research and completing trades.
• Prepare and summarize client meetings, schedule meetings, craft agendas, and provide follow-up.
• Prepare new business paperwork and ensure processes are completed.
• Build, manage, and analyze reports and branch vitals; monitor expenses and budgets.
• Lead, coach, mentor, and conduct 1:1s with staff; ensure staffing needs are met.
