Job summary

Safe-Guard Products International seeks a Sr. Supervisor in the Atlanta area to lead the underwriting/contract processing team and drive quality in the processing of new business and posted batches.

You will oversee performance, mentor staff, and partner with Legal, Claims, and Account Management to resolve complex underwriting issues. This hybrid role requires strong communication, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (degree preferred).
• Minimum five years’ experience managing staff of 10+ in insurance/financial settings.
• Strong people, interpersonal and presentation abilities; excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong computer skills; ability to understand and service policies; proficient in Windows and MS-Office.
• Analytical, innovative and able to resolve complex issues with sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Review processor performance in productivity, accuracy and timeliness using CMS, EIM, BI and QA audits.
• Provide feedback and guidance to associates; communicate procedural changes.
• Collaborate with Operations Manager to address underwriting issues and personnel concerns.
• Coordinate with Claims, Legal, Account Management and A/P for cross‑department support.
• Correspond with clients regarding new business and batching concerns; resolve issues.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports as requested by management.
• Handle escalated issues with dealers and agents and related contracts.
• Manage personnel actions and annual performance evaluations.
• Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
