Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks a Senior Operations Support Specialist to support a national security program in Arlington, VA. You will design and meet operational and exercise goals, coordinating with internal and external clients to maintain situational awareness.

The role involves watch-stand duties, crisis action planning, and ensuring mission success in a fast-paced environment. A Top Secret/SCI eligibility is required and professional collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• BA/BS and 5+ years of experience with strategic/operational plan development
• Experience with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Active Top Secret with SCI Eligibility

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and maintenance of contingency operation and emergency action plans.
• Develop draft exercise plans to test new concepts and support mission readiness.
• Conduct assessments of mission-essential processes and procedures.
• Perform watch officer tasks: phones, radios, cameras, monitoring devices.
• Produce draft reports related to events and incidents.
• Facilitate communications and automated equipment in the operations center.
• Prepare for training, testing and exercises, including no-notice events.
• Evaluate tests/exercises and provide recommendations for capability development.
