Gulfstream Aerospace in St. Louis is seeking an Operations Engineer III to support manufacturing operations with Lean methods and CAD-driven design oversight. The role interfaces with engineers, technicians, and managers to improve processes and workflows.

The ideal candidate holds a mechanical/electrical/aerospace engineering degree with 4+ years of manufacturing or design engineering experience and strong problem-solving skills. This is a full-time role in the St. Louis area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required; 4 years manufacturing/design engineering experience.
• Experience using CAD tools for design, analysis and interpretation of structures.
• Ability to read blueprints and apply Lean methods to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide detailed work instructions, drive quality and efficiency improvements.
• Perform RCCA analysis on quality defects and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct technical studies to optimize manufacturing processes and tooling needs.
• Lead projects across multiple teams and oversee process development.
• Apply Lean principles and support safety, sustainability and continuity plans.
• Mentor entry level OE staff and coordinate with engineering and operations.
