Estimated annual base pay: $90,400(minimum) - $113,000(midpoint) - $135,600(maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you’re a Senior Operations Engineer , we have an exciting opportunity for you!
The Senior Operations Engineer is responsible for designing and supporting moderate to high complexity manufacturing systems and equipment, as well as mentoring other Engineers and supporting process improvements. This position operates with moderate to low supervision and makes independent technical decisions based on established precedents. However, guidance may be sought on business priorities and action. The Senior Operations Engineer will also collaborate with other production members to ensure smooth operations.
What You Will Be Doing…
Participate in or Lead new Product, Process, and Equipment introduction efforts primarily related to machining (turning, milling, grinding, etc.), related special processes (Heat Treat, Coating, Honing, etc.), and Quality control (Gaging, etc.).
Participates in or Lead process improvements within Production systems; assists with the development of department and organization procedures.
Initiates, Justifies, and implements Capital purchases and improvement projects based on Capacity planning, Capability analysis, Safety and other factors.
Creates, maintains, and develops new process documentation, Training materials, and Engineering tools. Creates new systems that support this effort.
Contributes to new product design and refinement efforts to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness based on process capability, material selection, gaging and testing capability, etc.
What We Are Looking For…
Bachelor's degree in a technical or scientific field is required
Greater than 4 years professional manufacturing engineering experience required or a combination of experience and advanced degree
Manufacturing Engineering – Demonstrated understanding of applicable machining processes, fixturing and tooling required to manufacture a part. Well versed in Computer Numeric Controls (CNC) strategies and programming; Solid understanding of CAD modeling, CAM processing, and simulation of CNC processes/programs and entire production systems.
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret engineering and process drawings and the ability to apply GD&T to manufacturing processes.
Demonstrated knowledge of inspection techniques and gauges, including Gauge R&R, to ensure parts meet required specifications, and SPC to monitor process variation.
This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
