Job summary

Nabors is seeking a Senior Operations Coordinator to provide senior-level coordination for field service administration, including timekeeping, billing, revenue support, procurement, logistics, travel, expenses, and D365 Field Service.   • Lead validation and resolution of complex or escalated technician time, service-hour, rental, and billing-support discrepancies.
  • Review D365 and source documentation to identify revenue-capture gaps, aging exceptions, or control weaknesses and coordinate corrective action.
  • Establish control checks, exception reporting, and documentation standards that improve traceability and invoice readiness.
  • Serve as senior escalation point for billing support questions and cross-functional issue resolution.
  • Coordinate complex, high-priority, or multi-stakeholder service activities involving technician availability, travel, repair schedules, and changing requirements.
  • Maintain consolidated status visibility for leadership and communicate risks that could affect service delivery, cost, or revenue timing.
  • Coordinate complex requisitions and purchasing issues that require alignment among requestors, Procurement, Finance, Engineering, and vendors.
  • Act as the senior operational resource for D365 Field Service workflows, data expectations, and complex user issues.
  • Develop recurring status, exception, workload, or performance reporting that improves operational visibility and follow-through.
  • Mentor Coordinators I and II on D365 and process guidance.

The Senior Operations Coordinator provides senior operational coordination and subject matter leadership for complex field service administration, including timekeeping, billing, revenue support, procurement, logistics, travel, expenses, and D365 Field Service. The role resolves escalated issues, strengthens controls and reporting, improves workflows, and develops coordinator and user capability to support accurate revenue capture and consistent service readiness.

Responsibilities
Complex Timekeeping, Billing & Revenue Control

  • Resolve scheduling and logistics conflicts by clarifying dependencies, options, owners, and escalation needs.

  • Maintain consolidated status visibility for leadership and communicate risks that could affect service delivery, cost, or revenue timing.

  • Guide Coordinators I and II on effective planning, follow-up, and escalation practices.

Procurement Process Leadership

  • Coordinate complex requisitions and purchasing issues that require alignment among requestors, Procurement, Finance, Engineering, and vendors.

  • Coach coordinators and requestors on established purchasing requirements and effective documentation practices.

D365 Administration, Testing & Improvement

  • Act as the senior operational subject matter resource for assigned D365 Field Service workflows, data expectations, and complex user issues.

  • Translate operational needs into clear defect, configuration, enhancement, or reporting requirements for the supporting IT team.

  • Coordinate user acceptance testing, document results, assess operational impacts, and communicate approved process changes.

  • Lead data-quality reviews and develop sustainable user guidance, controls, and training materials.

Operational Reporting, Training & Stakeholder Support

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 5-8+ years of experience in field service coordination, operations administration, billing, timekeeping, logistics, procurement support, or a related business support function.

  • Experience with an ERP, field service management, timekeeping, billing, or purchasing system and the ability to learn assigned D365 Field Service workflows.

  • Demonstrated ability to review operational and financial support records for completeness and accuracy.

  • Communication and organizational skills sufficient to coordinate stakeholders, priorities, and deadlines in a service-oriented environment.

  • Ability to support occasional schedule changes or urgent operational needs outside standard business hours when required.

  • Demonstrated experience resolving complex administrative process issues and improving workflows, controls, reporting, or training.

  • Demonstrated ability to coach or train employees on operational processes or systems.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree or relevant post-secondary coursework in business, accounting, supply chain, logistics, information systems, or a related field.

  • Experience supporting oilfield, industrial equipment, repair, rental, or field service operations.

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service or a comparable field service management platform.

  • Experience preparing purchase requisitions, billing support, technician time records, travel arrangements, and expense reports.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word for tracking, communication, and documentation.

  • Experience coordinating user acceptance testing, system enhancements, operational reporting, or process-improvement initiatives.
