Our client is seeking a Senior Operational Controls/Technical Accounting candidate for a newly created position. The ideal candidate will have a mix of large public accounting experience and related audit or strong general accounting within a corporate setting. The position offers a hybrid work model, being in the office 1-2 days a week and remote for the remainder.

Requirements and Responsibilities:

• Minimum of 2-4 years of Public Audit Internal Controls experience
• 4-year degree in Accounting or Finance
• Preferred experience in internal controls and regulatory accounting
• Operational risk management initiatives
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Develop and update internal controls processes for C-Level colleagues
• Collaborate with management to achieve operational efficiencies
• Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems
• Develop and deliver agendas on compliance responsibilities
• Stay current with accounting pronouncements
• Ideal candidates will have passed the CPA or CIA exam
