Job summary

Starbucks is seeking an experienced Manager - Operations Auditor to lead comprehensive operational audits across stores, service centers, and distribution hubs in a high-impact role. You will build and sustain the risk model for Retail Sites and drive improvements in control environments.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in auditing, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a background in manufacturing or retail.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in auditing or a related field.
• Experience in manufacturing, retail, consumer products, technology, Big Four, consulting, or similar industries.
• Expertise in continuous process improvement methods and tools.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving to drive process improvements.
• Ability to simplify complex information to support decisions.
• Strong analytical skills with high business acumen and professional skepticism.

Responsibilities

• Perform operational audits for stores, service centers, and distribution centers.
• Develop and maintain the risk model for Retail Sites.
• Develop Daily POS to Bank reconciliation of Credit Card Sales & Cash transactions by site.
• Review daily bank, sales, purchase, and inventory reconciliations.
• Schedule audit resources to ensure coverage and productive deployment.
• Review and edit audit workpapers and reports.
• Supervise and train operational audit team members.
• Collaborate with Loss Prevention and operations management to improve controls.
