Job summary

JMD Technologies Inc. is seeking an Operations Analytics Lead to support IT operations, observability, and KPI/SLA reporting across enterprise tech environments.

The ideal candidate has hands-on Splunk expertise, log analysis, and experience with Dynatrace, Power BI, and Excel, plus scripting in Python or Shell to automate reporting.

You will define and report KPIs, coordinate issue resolution with cross-functional teams, and help drive proactive operational improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• 8+ years of relevant IT operations/analytics experience.
• Experience defining, validating, analyzing, and reporting KPIs/OKRs/SLAs/SLOs.
• Hands-on Splunk Enterprise with SPL, dashboards, alerts, and data normalization.
• Strong log analysis, monitoring, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience managing DevOps issues/defects, triage, backlog, escalations, and release coordination.
• Familiarity with observability and reporting tools like Dynatrace/Power BI/Excel.
• Scripting in Python or Shell/Bash for automation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define, collect, validate, analyze, and report KPIs, OKRs, SLAs, and SLOs.
• Develop and maintain Splunk searches, dashboards, alerts, and reports.
• Analyze logs to identify errors, performance issues, incidents, and degradation.
• Monitor and support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Manage DevOps issue lifecycles, triage, prioritization, and escalations.
• Support observability and performance monitoring using Dynatrace, Power BI, and Excel.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues.
• Use Python, Shell/Bash, or scripting to automate reporting and data collection.
• Maintain operational documentation and incident follow-up procedures.
