Job summary

USA Compression Partners, LP is seeking an Operations Data Analyst to join a collaborative analytics team. You will partner with stakeholders to identify business needs, transform data, and develop dashboards and applications primarily using Databricks.

The role touches financial, accounting, safety, fleet, and operations data including SAP. The position requires 2+ years in data analytics or BI, strong dashboard skills, and experience in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 2+ years of data analytics or BI experience.
• Skilled in dashboards and data visualizations.
• Ability to translate requirements into deliverables.
• Strong testing and validation of data and dashboards.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Attention to detail and independent work ethic.
• Ability to collaborate in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers and stakeholders to identify needs and improvements.
• Translate requirements into features, user stories, and data needs.
• Design dashboard concepts and review prototypes.
• Onboard new data sources via APIs and ETL/ELT processes.
• Use Python, PySpark, and SQL in Databricks to transform data.
• Build Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers.
• Develop dashboards and low-code internal applications.
• Perform QA, UI testing, and validate results.
• Support deployments and post-release checks.
• Collaborate with operations and data teams.
