Job summary

Amentum seeks a Senior Systems Engineer in the United States to lead the design and integration of OTPSs and STE. You will drive system architecture, manage IPTs, and ensure on-time delivery with government customers.

This role requires a Secret clearance, extensive automated test equipment experience, and strong leadership of cross-functional teams across design, testing, and certification activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, or closely related field with 10+ years of experience.
• Extensive experience with automated test equipment for electronic modules containing digital and RF circuits.
• Proficiency in developing, troubleshooting, and integrating ITAs, test fixtures, and cable assemblies.
• Expertise in ATP development and integrating TPSs into automated systems.
• Experience planning, developing, and managing project schedules, milestones, and budgets as an IPT Lead.
• Strong understanding of engineering best practices for automated test equipment and depot maintenance.
• Ability to perform TAR/TUR and SAR/SUR calculations for calibration recommendations.
• Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, and more.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance and United States citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of OTPSs and STEs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deploy, integrate, test, and certify OTPS and STE solutions.
• Lead IPTs and manage SERs, PDR, CDR, TRR, DVT, and Depot Certification.
• Conduct bi-weekly TEMs to discuss progress, risks, and funding status.
• Collaborate with Government customers to meet timelines for deliverables.
• Oversee subcontractors and manage cost, schedule, and reporting.
• Develop and review Technical Data Packages, including Level III drawings and CAD files.
• Implement diagnostics integration, PLC, and self-test/fault isolation for OTPS & STE.
• Develop ATPs and generate TSRs, SVD, SBP, TEI, SOP, OTPIs, and CMRS.
