Job summary

Applied Intuition is seeking an Operational Safety Lead to create tools, review and approve safety risk for ground, maritime, and flight tests across multiple platforms. You will guide the risk acceptance, develop safety programs, and ensure SOPs align with company safety requirements.

The role involves collaboration with project leaders, regulatory awareness, and delivering safety training. Some travel may be required, and the position is based in Fort Walton Beach, FL with potential flexible

Qualifications

7+ years industry experience.
Bachelor's Degree required.
Graduate of a certified test pilot school or 10+ years testing experience.
Maintenance, experimental, developmental, or production test experience.
Experience handling ordnance.

Responsibilities

Set company safety requirements and oversee the operational safety program.
Arbitrate safety decisions and take direct authority when risk exceeds 'Medium'.
Develop, update, and approve TRWs and other safety documentation.
Collaborate with testing organizations on test plans and risk analyses.
Lead safety training and risk management across programs.
