Job summary

You will oversee the safety program, set requirements, and arbitrate risk for projects with authority when needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years industry experience.
• Graduate of a certified test pilot school or at least 10 years of testing experience to include leading test teams.
• Maintenance, experimental, developmental, or production test experience.
• Experience handling ordinance.

Responsibilities

• Set company safety requirements.
• Work with vertical leaders to ensure SOPs support safety requirements.
• Assist in evaluating risks for each project.
• Serve as an impartial risk arbitrator and take safety authority when risk is above Medium.
• Stay informed of regulatory guidance and best practices in operational safety.
• Disseminate new safety information and keep policies compliant.
• Provide safety stand-downs and recurrent safety training.
• Collaborate on TRWs with testing organizations.
• Lead periodic reviews of operational safety plans.
