Job summary

LPL Financial, a leading wealth management firm, seeks a VPII, Operational Risk Management to drive and mature its ORM program across business units. You will lead a team delivering risk assessments, RCSA, and risk reporting to senior leadership.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in financial services, strong governance experience, and a track record of strategic risk oversight and clear communication with executives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in financial services or a regulated entity.
• Experience implementing ORM/ERM elements such as risk assessments and issues management.
• Experience communicating complex materials to an executive audience.
• Ability to lead strategic and tactical initiatives with clear outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Drive implementation and ongoing improvement of key Operational Risk programs across business units.
• Define program requirements with Risk and Compliance for risk assessments and reporting.
• Partner with leaders to provide Operational Risk insights to meet business objectives.
• Lead a team ensuring a transparent, informed and supported work environment.
• Develop testing and rating methodologies for controls, policies, and procedures.
