Job summary

KeyBank seeks a Testing Analyst to join the Operational Risk Management Oversight and Centralized Testing & Verification team. The role focuses on testing the operational effectiveness of internal controls and verifying remediation activities.

The candidate will lead walkthroughs, design test scripts, select samples, gather evidence, coordinate reviews, and communicate results while driving process improvements in the testing function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of applicable auditing experience (internal, external or regulatory).
• Thorough knowledge of risk, compliance and audit competencies.
• Intermediate understanding of financial institutions, products/services, systems and risks/controls.
• Intermediate knowledge of bank policies, laws and regulations.
• Experience with IT General Controls (ITGCs) preferred.
• Strong analytical, facilitation and project management skills.
• Excellent presentation, interpersonal and written communication skills.
• MS Office proficiency including Word, Excel, databases and presentations.
• Certifications or interest in pursuing CISA, CIA, CGEIT, CRISC, etc.

Responsibilities

• Leading process walkthroughs with control owners & key stakeholders.
• Scheduling testing in alignment with the testing plan.
• Drafting and submitting results to impacted stakeholders.
• Designing test scripts, test steps & testing templates.
• Selecting populations/samples for testing per requirements.
• Requesting and collecting testing evidence and support.
• Coordinating reviews of testing with the Manager.
• Communicating results and recommending solutions to mitigate gaps.
• Identifying and executing process improvements in the testing function.
