Job summary

KeyBank seeks an experienced Testing Analyst to support the Operational Risk Management Oversight department and the Centralized Testing & Verification team. The role focuses on testing the operational effectiveness of internal controls and verifying remediation activities across business lines.

You will lead process walkthroughs, design test scripts, select samples, gather evidence, and communicate results to stakeholders while identifying improvements and ensuring compliance with risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of applicable auditing experience (internal, external or regulatory).
• Strong knowledge of risk, compliance and audit competencies.

In the execution of these responsibilities the Testing Analyst will need excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work well with and influence others and be detailed, curious and diligent in the execution of testing. This role will also interact heavily with the Business Line process and control owners and other Risk and Audit professionals.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of applicable experience of internal, external or regulatory auditing experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Thorough knowledge of Risk, Compliance, Audit competencies
• Intermediate understanding of financial institutions and operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks & controls
• Intermediate knowledge of applicable bank policies, laws, and regulations
• Preferred: Experience with Information Technology General Controls (ITGCs)
• Strong analytical, process facilitation and project management skills
• Effective presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office applications and word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations
• Applicable professional certifications or interest in pursuing: CISA, CIA, CGEIT, CRISC, etc.

Physical Demands

Compensation And Benefits

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
