Job summary

Kenvue Inc. in Summit, NJ is seeking a Make Excellence Manager to lead cross-functional teams delivering enterprise-wide continuous improvement and operational excellence. You will guide agility, quality and cost improvement projects across External Manufacturing and drive digitization and network projects.

The role requires scope definition, planning, risk management, and training, plus travel up to 25% and a strong Lean/Six Sigma background to drive cost reduction and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree is required.
• 8+ years in Supply Chain/Operations, Contract Manufacturing, Internal Manufacturing, Procurement, or related fields.
• Experience in high-volume Manufacturing within a GMP environment.
• Proven experience in identifying, scoping, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrated effectiveness leading cross-functional project teams.
• Prior knowledge of ERP/MRP/SAP systems.
• Willingness to travel 25%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and advance digital performance management and drive efficiency in External Manufacturing through automation.
• Lead large-scale network improvement projects to improve cost, quality and service.
• Define and execute continuous improvement programs across sites to improve operational metrics.
• Facilitate network performance reviews with ability to deliver new product launches.
• Manage CI programs and timelines to meet deadlines and realize business benefits.
• Scope, lead kaizen events and implement future-state solutions.
• Act as a change agent for continuous improvement strategies and activities.
• Develop training programs to teach lean tools and CI initiatives.
