Job summary

Vicor is seeking a Sr. Operational Excellence Engineer to support Manufacturing Leadership by analyzing, designing, and implementing processes that improve efficiency. You will work with cross-functional teams to optimize capacity, metrics, and reporting.

This role requires extensive experience in manufacturing continuous improvement, Lean, and data analysis, with SAP and Excel proficiency. Collaborate across departments to standardize processes and drive cost savings.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Industrial Engineering.
• 5+ years of leading and supporting continuous improvement projects in manufacturing or production.
• Experience with capacity modeling.
• Expert in data manipulation and analysis in Excel; SAP experience preferred.
• Experience leading Lean methodologies and Kaizen events.
• Systemic problem solver with root cause analysis and solution implementation.

Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional teams on capacity vs mix changes.
• Provide reporting analytics on continuous improvement initiatives and metrics.
• Monitor and report on cycle-time, DL efficiency and On-Time-Delivery.
• Partner with all areas to drive Operational Excellence analytics and improvements.
• Capture real-time measurement data for capital and cost-saving initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to remove waste and drive measurable improvements.
• Serve as a resource for continuous improvement methods across areas.
