Job summary

Synergis in the United States is seeking a senior Documentum Architect to lead architecture, development, modernization, and ongoing optimization of OpenText Documentum environments. You will provide technical leadership across D2, AO, Content Server, xPlore, and related technologies.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience designing, developing, administering, supporting, or architecting OpenText Documentum environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Documentum D2; 3+ years preferred.
• Experience with Documentum Content Server, xPlore, and the broader Documentum architecture.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise Documentum solutions and customizations.
• Experience with Java and Documentum development technologies; DFC/WDK experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with SQL and/or Oracle databases.
• Experience with upgrades, migrations, platform enhancements, and modernization efforts.
• Experience with D2/AO upgrades or implementations is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical architecture and leadership for enterprise OpenText Documentum applications and infrastructure.
• Design, develop, configure, implement, enhance, and optimize Documentum solutions including D2, AO, Content Server, xPlore.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess needs, and translate into scalable technical solutions.
• Support planning and execution of Documentum upgrades, migrations, enhancements, and modernization initiatives.
• Evaluate existing architecture and configurations and recommend improvements for performance and reliability.
• Design and support integrations between Documentum and other enterprise applications and services.
• Develop and enhance Documentum solutions using Java and Documentum development technologies.
