Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies seeks an OpenShift Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and operate enterprise OpenShift platforms across on-premises and cloud environments. You will own the end-to-end platform lifecycle from provisioning and hardening to workload onboarding and developer enablement.

The ideal candidate brings deep OpenShift and Kubernetes internals knowledge, strong Linux fundamentals, and a security-first mindset, partnering with application teams and security engineers to deliver

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
5+ years operating container platforms in production, with at least 3 years on OpenShift.
Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and OpenShift internals, including RBAC and networking.
Strong Linux administration, networking, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with IaC tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or Helm.
Solid experience implementing CI/CD pipelines on OpenShift or Kubernetes using Tekton, Jenkins, or Argo CD.
Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go.
Working knowledge of cluster monitoring, logging, and tracing tools.
Familiarity with container image security and supply chain hardening.
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and operate enterprise OpenShift platforms across on-premises and cloud environments.
Own the end-to-end platform lifecycle from provisioning to ongoing operations.
Collaborate with security, developers and infrastructure teams to deliver a stable, secure container platform.
Enable developers and continually improve platform reliability and usability.
