Patrick A. Finn Ltd. in Palatine, IL is seeking an experienced Residential Remodeling Project Manager to lead projects from pre-construction to closeout.

You will serve as the primary field leader and client-facing representative, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget adherence while delivering high-quality craftsmanship. You will coordinate crews, schedules, budgets, and site meetings, maintaining strong homeowner relationships and proactive updates.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience managing residential remodeling or custom home construction projects.
• Design-build experience strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple residential projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and change order management.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, construction documents, and specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead residential remodeling projects from pre-construction through final walkthrough and project closeout.
• Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules while coordinating daily field operations.
• Conduct routine jobsite visits to ensure quality workmanship, safety, cleanliness, and schedule adherence.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, material deliveries, and trade partners throughout each project.
• Build strong relationships with homeowners through proactive communication, regular site meetings, and timely project updates.
• Monitor project budgets, change orders, costs, and progress to help ensure successful project outcomes.
• Review plans, verify field conditions, and collaborate with the design team to resolve construction challenges before they impact the schedule.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, schedules, project documentation, photos, and reports within the company's project management software.
• Ensure all work complies with company quality standards, local building codes, and jobsite safety requirements.
• Mentor and support field team members while fostering a positive, accountable, and collaborative work environment.
