Job summary

Technip Energies is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead on-site construction activities for the CWLNG project near Lake Charles, Louisiana. This is a full-time, on-site role with no remote work; relocation not offered.

The successful candidate will supervise discipline supervisors, coordinate subcontractors, ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence, and support project management with progress reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, civil engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant field experience in construction or similar industry.
• Strong operational understanding of construction processes.
• Strong management and leadership skills.
• Fluency in professional English.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of construction activities across all project phases.
• Provide technical support to discipline supervision teams to facilitate work execution.
• Ensure proper preparation of construction activities prior to execution.
• Review and coordinate construction deliverables and site activities.
• Interface with field engineering for clarification on design and drawings.
• Prepare and manage reports related to construction progress and activities.
• Assist in preparation and management of extra work orders.
• Assign work to discipline supervisors and oversee execution.
• Supervise subcontractors and ensure proper coordination of activities.
• Support site leadership in managing daily construction operations.
• Ensure effective communication across construction, engineering, and project teams.
• Identify and elevate issues or impediments affecting construction progress.
• Ensure construction activities comply with schedule, quality, and HSE requirements.
