Job summary

Oil‑Dri Corporation of America, a leading sorbents producer, seeks a Senior MRO Buyer to lead on-site procurement of maintenance, repair and operations. You will manage end-to-end sourcing, inventory optimization and supplier performance at an active mine site, ensuring uptime and cost controls.

The role combines hands-on purchasing with data-driven decisions, advancing toward AI-assisted sourcing while maintaining master-data integrity and cross‑functional collaboration with Maintenance,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.
• CPSM, CPM, CSCP, CPIM or related certification preferred
• Five+ years of progressive MRO procurement or related experience
• Experience with ERP/MRP purchasing and inventory processes; JDE experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end procurement of assigned MRO stock items, non-stock parts and services; manage order acknowledgements, expedites, returns and PO closeout.
• Convert requisitions to POs in JDE; verify supplier, item, quantity, price, promised date and terms before release.
• Prioritize critical requirements and communicate status and risks to Maintenance and Operations.
